Sex in Space: Easier Said Than Done

As man and woman move to colonize the cosmos, the realities of sexual relationships and reproduction need to be addressed. The Universe documentary probes the physiological, psychological and cultural challenges of sex in space. The documentary film begins with the test of a new space 2suit demonstrated by space author Vanna Bonta and her husband Alan Newcomb in this four segment YouTube post. Interviews include John Spencer, Dr. Jim Logan, David Garrison, Dr. Michio Kaku, April E. Ronca, Sheryl L. Bishop, astronaut Mike Mullane, Harvey Wichman, Samuel Coniglio, and others in this serious effort to address the subject. Parts one, two, three and four are linked for viewing. It was first aired on television in late 2008.
