WEBCAST OF THE LAUNCH: The launch of NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) mission is now rescheduled for Monday December 14, 2009 with a launch window of 9:09-9:23 a.m. EST. The operational mode for WISE anticipates many new discoveries both internally and externally to the solar system. The spacecraft will ride a Delta-II to orbit from Vandenberg, California.
