Created by amateur special effects artist The Faking Hoaxer, this video shows the Space Shuttle in 12 different horrifying situations, be it breached or exploding at launch or destroyed on orbit. It's real enough to be stomach-churning and very tough to watch. Yet at the same time, it brings home the point, the space shuttles are aging spacecraft. Let space advocates everywhere pray that the last two or three space shuttle missions of Discovery, Endeavour, or Atlantis face NONE of these nightmare scenarios. The loss of Challenger and Columbia is more than enough burden to bear.
