Shuttle May Delay to Feb. 24, 2011

Space Shuttle Discovery is now undergoing modification of 34 support beams inside the Vehicle Assembly Building, called stringers, on the external fuel tank by Kennedy Space Center technicians leaving the vehicle with less chance to make its next launch window that opens Feb. 3. The next launch window for the much-delayed space shuttle STS-133 after that would open Feb. 24, 2011.
