Russian cosmonaut and Soyuz Commander Alexander Samokutyaev, NASA Flight Engineer Ron Garan and Russian Flight Engineer Andrey Borisenko appeared before the Russian State Commission April 3, 2011 in Baikonur, Kazakhstan with their backups. The Commission gave its final approval for launch.
