The Solar Dynamics Observatory is now on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Complex 41 atop of an Atlas-V booster set for liftoff (weather permitting). Launch coverage will be on NASA-TV; Mission Control blog from SpaceFlightNow. Watch for up-dates here when the mission mangers decide to launch again. Here comes the SUN!
