Back in 1609, in Venice, Italy, Galileo Galilei gave one of the very first demonstrations of his telescope. A few months after that, he discovered Jupiter's moons, Io, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. Four centuries later, another telescope is making history here, as scientists gather to discuss the latest results from the Hubble Space Telescope.
While the last space shuttle servicing mission has been completed, it has years of service ahead and historic discoveries yet to be made. In years to come, there may even be a commercial service solution ahead in the future.
