Space Blogger
Doug Meisser today points
ParabolicArc to an interview with
Elon Musk on
SpacePod in which the commercial space pioneer calls for space advocates to
contact Congressional
members with a
"clarion call to rally 'the people' against the 'evil' forces." The Senate passed legislation provides
funding for NASA contracts to purchase human commercial space launch while the House Science Committee measure deprives significant monies.
Meanhwhile, the Senate
advances a
heavy-lift NASA booster. But Musk
downplayed a SpaceX version of a heavy-lift capable booster from his firm as nothing more than professional speculation of an engineer at a conference. Many
argue that NASA must have a
heavy-lift capable booster in the Kennedy Space Center stable.
