Two NASA remote sensing satellites registered a total of 368 hotspots from fires across Russia on Saturday, with the central part of the country being the worst affected, a spokeswoman for the ScanEx company said.

Meanwhile, at the Star City's Garagin Cosmonaut Training Center, the peat bog and forest fires created smog filled the skies causing NASA to curb sending Americans there on a temporary basis.
