Hubble Helps Dawn Science at Vesta


Chris Russell, principal investigator for NASA's Dawn mission, explains how new images obtained by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope help his mission refine plans for Dawn's rendezvous with the large asteroid Vesta in July 2011. It is the first American robot probe mission to the giant asteroid Vista and the 600-mile diameter dwarf planet Ceres - the single largest object in The Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter.
