Terry McAuliffe may not have a Virginia-based space launch firm (just yet) ... but he is ready to roll with electric cars whilst seeking to advance into a Virginia biomass plant and wind energy. He calls for an Apollo-like effort in green energy [Bloomberg video]. In the fall of 2011, Virginia-based * GreenTech Automotive * will launch MyCar in the American market. A full line of electric and hybrid cars are being rolled out by McAuliffe, as he decides whether or not to run for Virginia governor in the fall of 2013.

Who knows? A Chinese-designed Shenzhou space capsule and rocket may next be built in the United States and launched from Wallops Island, Va. Driving MyCar to MyRocket may be the next future thing in globalized business - Elon!
Don't laugh too hard Terry, the Ukrainians are building a first stage in Virginia now for the Taurus-2 booster going to the International Space Station in mid-2011. The Europeans and Russians are expanding their spaceport launch pads in South America.
