The WISE infrared astronomy satellite will take to the pre-sunrise sky at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California between 6:10 and 6:23 AM PST on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. It will hunt for asteroids, comets, brown dwarf stars and conduct a deep space survey. Here is more detial from NASA JPL.
