The Canadian Space Agency has brought the
AuroraMAX webcam to life enabling thousands around the world who have not previously had the good fortune of
bearing witness to the haunting
images of the
Aurora Borealis. The
AuroraMAX observatory will broadcast views of the northern lights through the sun's peak activity period, called solar maximum, which is expected in 2013, [users may wish to give the
webcam extra time to properly load due to demand]. More information from
CBCNews and
Space.com.
