Orion Seeks 2019 Asteroid Mission


Larry Price, the deputy project manager of the Orion Program, believes that Orion could be flying prior to the end of 2013, perhaps the first mission to an asteroid coming in 2019. The reporter notes the small size of an Orion space capsule for 6-month missions. The reporter probably has not considered the possible use of an inflatable.
